Searching the Map
Use the search box in the top-right corner to find locations. You can search by:
đAddress â Type a civic address (e.g. 5010 50
Avenue)
đī¸Facility â Search for town facilities (e.g. Town
Office, Library)
đŗPark â Search for parks by name
đTax Roll â Enter a tax roll number
đShort Legal â Enter a short legal description
The search will auto-suggest results as you type. Click on a result to zoom to that location.
Layer Controls
Use the layer panel on the top-left to turn layers on and off:
đĸFacility Layer â Shows town facilities with phone
numbers and directions
đ Property Layer â Shows property boundaries with
assessment and ownership details
đ§Road Closures â Shows active road closures,
blocks, and detour routes
đŠī¸Aerial 2022 Layer â Shows aerial photography
with house numbers and roads
Property Information & Street View
To view property details and Google Street View:
1. Turn on the Property Layer using the checkbox in the layer panel
2. Click on any property on the map
3. A popup will display property information including:
Assessment photo and Google Street View
Tax Roll, LINC, Legal Description
Land Use District with link to bylaw
Assessment values and year built
Links to export results, assessment reports, and tax calculator
Hover over properties to see a quick preview with address and tax roll.
Road Closures
Turn on the Road Closures layer to see active closures:
Red
line â Road closure with direction arrows
âRed X â
Road block location
Purple
dash â Detour route
Click on any closure for details including dates, reason, and a shareable link.
Measurement Tools
Use the toolbar in the top-right (below the search box) to measure:
đDistance â Click the line icon, then click on the
map to measure. Double-click to finish.
đArea â Click the area icon, then click on the map
to measure an area. Double-click to finish.
đī¸Clear â Click the trash icon to remove
measurements.
