<statement>The ST37_BH_NAD83_10TM_AEP dataset represents the license status, location, licensee of record and other basic information for all the Non Confidential Bottom Hole Wells across the Province of Alberta. The ST37_BH_NAD83_10TM_AEP dataset is created in three steps; the first is by pulling the ST37 Well data from SQL, validating the pulled data with the ST37 CSV, once the data is validated, the SQL information is than merged with the FC_Production_String, using the UWI (Unique Well Identifier) as the attribute for merging. The second step is another merge is to the FC_Well dataset using Well_Licence_Number as the attribute for merging and the third is a by creating a vertex point for the unmerged data using the Latitude and Longitude attributes. The end result is a reprojected dataset of the Bottom Hole well locations in Alberta.</statement>
<prcStep>
<stepDesc>The following description provides a chronological account (from 2014 to present) of how the AER evolved the mapping of the ST-37 well dataset that is disseminated through the Product and Services Catalogue. Date: From 2014 to April 2018, the logic of the FME script was to a create a feature class dataset of all the Surface Hole Non Confidential Well Locations within the Provice of Alberta. The ST-37 Well dataset was compiled by merging the ST-37 list of wells text file with the FC_Well_License. Date: 2018; As of April 1st, the new logic behind the creation of the ST-37 products was to create 3 datasets by pulling the ST-37 data from SQL, merge it with the Production String dataset, Well dataset, Well Licence dataset and Well Geometry dataset, with the end result being the ST37_WG, ST37_SH and ST37_BH shapefiles in both the GCS_NAD83 and NAD83_10TM_AEP projections. </stepDesc>
